NEITHER SEX

NOR WORK!

WORLD CONGRESS AGAINST THE SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF WOMEN AND GIRLS

WHEN /

April 2-5, 2019

WHERE /

Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz - Germany

Philosophicum, Jakob-Welder-Weg 18

ABOUT THE EVENT /

The system of sexual exploitation is destructive in a society. The congress presents internationally successful solutions in the fight against prostitution and human trafficking:

Over the past 20 years, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Canada, Northern Ireland, France and the Republic of Ireland have banned the purchase of sex - with positive results: The demand for prostitution has fallen, trafficking in human beings has declined. The image of women in these societies has also changed, because the legislation makes it clear that women are not commodities! Germany, on the other hand, with its liberal legislation, has become the "brothel of Europe".

The World Congress wants to contribute to the Enlightenment and will develop action steps for a society without prostitution. The aim is to introduce the Nordic model (ban on sex shopping) in Germany as well.
